The Evil Bug is a creature bait which is a favorite plastic style among bass anglers for mimicking a swimming baitfish or insect. Retrieve this bait the same as you would any other jig, flip and pitch it, or even put it on a Carolina rig. More often than not, bass will hit the Evil Bug on the fall but, if not, hop and flip it along the bottom next to or through cover. The twirling and flapping action is sure to trigger a strike if you get in the right zone.
